Biography
Dr. Michael Ng is an optometrist practicing in Toronto, Canada with a special focus on comprehensive eye care, dry eye, laser therapy, myopia control therapy, and ocular disease management. His articles in eye care have reached over 20,000+ viewers worldwide. Dr. Ng received his Doctorate of Optometry at the University of Waterloo. He has had the privilege to work with renowned surgeons at LASIK MD, TLC Eye Care & Laser Eye Centre, South Lake Hospital, and Prism Eye Institute to expand his knowledge in the latest in refractive and minimally invasive glaucoma surgeries (MIGS).
Aside from being a member of the Canadian Association of Optometrists, Ontario Association of Optometrists and board certified in use of Therapeutic Pharmaceutical Agents (TPA), he is actively involved in the community promoting interprofessional collaboration between health care professionals.

This talk is geared towards forward-thinking optometrists, eye care professionals or physicians who are interested in increasing their knowledge and confidence in dry eye management. To be able to confidently diagnosis, address, and treat dry eye concerns is an increasingly important in clinic. This talk will explore current and upcoming pharmaceutical ingredients in dry eye products, their biological properties, and clinical perspective on treatment modalities to grow your dry eye practice.
